¶ eFP visualization of Polysomal mRNAs ("Translatomes") in Discrete Cell Populations of Arabidopsis Seedlings: Control and Hypoxia Stressed
This eFP viewer provides a schematic representation of data for Arabidopsis seedlings. The data are based on the abundance of individual mRNAs associated with ribosomes (translatomes) and total cellular mRNAs (transcriptomes). The translatomes were obtained by immunoprecipitation of ribosomes by use of a FLAG-epitope tagged ribosomal protein L18, driven by promoters expressed in specific cells or regions of seedlings. Thirteen promoter:FLAG-RPL18 lines were used. The region of the seedling where each promoter is expressed is schematically represented by eFP.
May 14, 2020: The link to view "Cell Type Specific Arabidopsis eFP" data as well as the link providing instructions for use are currently not functional.
- The webiste seems well designed but many of the links, including those with instructions for use, are currently dead/broken, making the tool difficult to use.
- eFP = "electronic fluorescent pictographic" representations, meaning the database will show expression patterns of your gene of interest.
- This database specifically will allow users to compare gene expression patterns of Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings under hypoxia-stress conditions versus control conditions.
